The authentic and tasteful design is truly captivating. The location, while not truly central, is attractive and quiet. The staff are good and unobtrusive, even if they could be a bit more pro-active. The restaurant with outdoor courtyard seating is good and fairly priced.
I could not discover any no real flaws.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are traditional and interesting. Lovely place in a quiet area but only a walk away from the more lively area.
The Ambiance is really great, pool is nice, dinning hall very romantic with quality cuisine. Very pleased overall, we had a great time. Location within old city, very convenient yet away from all the noise and crowdedness
Some front office and conceige staff can show more smiles and be a little more proactive, when we asked about pricing and rooms....etc since we want to return with our families, they were not overly keen about clients wanting to return to the hotel, interesting. Conceige staff also varies in their smiles and attitude. We find the cleaning lady showing most smiles and very friendly
I absolutely loved this hotel! One of the best hotels I have stayed at in the world - a real gem...
The hotel is quite nice and also very quiet. I like the hotel design. The service is also among the best.
The location is a little bit far from most of the night activities in Chiang Mai.
For the first few days of my stay I found the Rachamankha a haven of tranquility - by the end of the stay a few families arrived - one with three noisy children and this did spoil the peace I had been enjoying! Staff very helpful and the design of the hotel is beautiful - really enjoyed the library. Drain from the shower did smell a little funny. Breakfast was always pleasant but would not recommend dinner here - overpriced for what you can get elsewhere and really does not live up to its reputation - my chicken was a little undercooked.
Food in general and specially breakfast. Service and hospitality. Nice feeling.
Beautiful common areas and pool, nice pool, good location.
The room is rather simple and definitely not luxurious. The bathroom is overdue for renovation. Breakfast has very limited menu.
The architecture and decor is suberb. The attention to detail is beyond description. Location is wonderful. It is wonderfully tranquil and reminded me of the Lost City in Beijing.
a very classy hotel, all is refined, elegant. in the old city.
the coldness of the pool
The hotel is aesthetically beautiful.
Concierge service has room for improvement. Anticipation to help is there but language problem is overwhelming. Would recommend only with disclaimer.
Quit hotel .. Far from the main area of the city and not deserve mor than 3 star hotel
Was only me and my wife in the hotel
We enjoyed this hotel immensely. The facility itself is beautiful- from the grounds to the decor. The restuarant food- breakfast and dinner- were wonderful. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We would not hesitate to return- as soon as possible.
